Dentistry

Even our pets need to see a regular dentist and an annual appointment is easy to set up here! A large percentage of cats and dogs over three years of age have periodontal disease. This disease can lead to microscopic changes in the heart, liver, and kidneys. Which can lead to more serious health problems if left untreated, so we at My Pet’s Vet take a comprehensive approach to dentistry which includes dental assessment, treatment and prevention.

All procedures begin with x-rays of every angle of the jaw. Then our technicians start working by rinsing your pet’s mouth to decrease any bacteria. With the help of our state-of-the-art equipment, all plaque and tarter build-up is removed. Finally we clean underneath the gum line and polish each tooth.
